RICA ARAMBULO

Velvet chanteuse. Princess of the piano. Philippine singer-songwriter Rica Arambulo occupies a unique spot among this generation of musical artists. An award-winning pianist, composer, arranger, and singer all rolled into one, Rica continues to blaze trails with her unique musical sensibilities.

Rica realized early on that her true calling lay in music. Descended from generations of music educators, Rica began her musical journey as a classical pianist and multi-instrumentalist, emerging winner in numerous competitions. After completing a bachelor’s degree in music majoring in piano and minor in voice (cum laude) Rica branched out into arranging, songwriting, singing, and evolved into the complete music powerhouse that she is at present.

Versatile, impassioned, with a measure of discipline and sophistication, Rica’s lyricism offers a glimpse into her soul. Her melodies speak directly to the heart; her lyrics effortless, elegant, straightforward, existentialist; thus creating a multi-hued, shimmering, diverse musical landscape. Fluid, mellifluous melodies laced with honey, Rica’s velvet-rich vocals and virtuoso keyboards weave a magical fusion of the classic and contemporary, strength and femininity, tradition and modern edge.

Like a gem cut to perfection, Rica’s music continues to inspire, transform, and transports listeners to that ethereal, faraway land.
